This is Max’s first adventure.

In the second adventure, Max and his friends from the Theatre Royal travel to a country castle for a special Halloween show. The actors are being rattled by ghostly appearances and rumours of a cursed painting. Max is soon on the case, suspicious that the strange happenings have more to do with missing jewels than scary ghouls.

In the third adventure, Max and Oscar face their first international mystery when they are invited to Paris. The pampered pets of high society are going missing and it may have something to do with the singing competition that is gripping the city. It’s up to Max to save the day once again.
